The store is really nice and big. They have a deli, a Starbucks, and a seating area near the Starbucks. They are located in a shopping center that has lots of other stores around it including a smoke shop, Bank of America, post office, jewelry store, dry cleaners, and even a disc golf course across the street. Prices are a little spendy for my liking but we went there for the convenience. The cashier was nice enough and she did give us $5 bills for our change as requested. Thanks Safeway!š
I went into the deli to order a sandwich in which the lady was extremely helpful. I will probably mess up this personās name, but her name is Mirna I think. I complemented this woman on her gorgeous Christmas sweater and she said I must have it and gave it to me right off her back. As a business analyst I still am customer facing and I have never done that. I appreciate her and wanted to let the store know how incredible this employee is that she would give you the āshirt/ Christmas sweater off her back. Next time Iām in the area for work I will bring a gift for her. Thank you so much for the sandwich and holiday cheer.
I was in today for some deli meat. Emma W was just incredibly nice, efficient, and productive than having me try some meat, and then advising which ones to get. Really good experience from this large grocery chain that Emma makes seem like a small hometown deli.
It is clean and they are friendly.
I have seen extremely long lines at the pharmacy, however.
Hey, it's a Safeway, you know what they're good at and what they aren't. What's notable here is, this location has incredibly friendly and helpful employees. I am glad this is my neighborhood supermarket!
Takes forever to fill a prescription, i called twice. Showed up.. pharmacist, you should have called to check on it.. I called twice, no answer... sorry you will have to come back in an hour .. 3 hours to fill a z pack? Ok... rite aid next time. Screw these guys.
Friendly staff. Prices are great on some items, and terrible on others. It's a high-low pricing strategy. Digital coupons apply automatically with your club card number. House brand soda for some reason only has 12 mg of caffeine per can, so if you're looking for that go with a name brand. Produce dept is very nice looking and look fresh. Meats look better than at Walmart or WinCo. They also have some items a lot of the typical big box stores lack, which is nice. It was very clean and well-kept though, both inside and the parking lot. Overall, this is a nice Safeway store friendly staff. I would have no issues coming here again.
This store is terrible, they have a captive audience. THIS is what happens when there is only one grocery store in a large area, they have no motivation to do better. The employees are lazy, never available. Like other stores, they love to move things around completely which I get but then even their own staff don't know where things are. The older, bald, short, skinny guy who's always stocking shelves in the evenings is rude, cranky, and just a curmudgeon. The self check out stations are terrible, many things aren't recognized by the system and requires an over-ride. So not only do I have to do their job in the interest of 'speed', now I have to wait for someone to mosey on over to over-ride something that should have been in the system in the first place. Lazy people doing things in a lazy way. The deli closes whenever they feel like it. Last time I went at 7:00 pm, deli person told me they were closed. There was food in the displays and there was a person there who spent more time telling me that they are under staffed than it would have taken to just get me 3 egg rolls. Lazy staff, lazy management, lazy corporate.
